Понимание устного текста (Listening)

На выполнение заданий отводится 10 минут , в которые входит и внесение ответов в ответные листы. Задание предъявляется дважды.

Критерии оценивания : За каждый правильный ответ дается 1 балл. Задания 1-4.

Понимание письменного текста (Reading)

Задание по чтению направлено на понимание текста. От ученика требуется прочитать текст и закончить десять предложений, выбрав правильный ответ из предложенных ниже . На выполнение задания отводится 20 минут , в которые входит и внесение ответов в ответные листы. Правильность выполнения заданий проверяется по ключам.

Критерии оценивания : За каждый правильный ответ дается 1 балл . Задания 5-14. Максимальное количество баллов – 10.

Лексико-грамматический тест (Use of English)

Всего в данном блоке 8 вопросов.

Учащиеся должны продемонстрировать соответствующий уровень владения лексическим материалом и умение оперировать им в условиях множественного выбора. Задания 15-22.

Учащемуся требуется проявить знания грамматики и лексики и вставить пропуски в предложение из предложенного выбора, найти вариант с грамматической ошибкой, найти букву, подходящую для всех предложенных слов, подобрать верный перевод предложения, употребить нужный артикль, найти слово другой части речи.

За каждый правильный ответ дается 1 балл . Максимальное количество баллов – 8.

Правильность выполнения заданий проверяется по ключам.

Социо-культурная компетенция

Задание представляет собой 4 вопроса, нацеленных на знание учащимися информации страноведческого и социокультурного характера в рамках школьной программы. Задание оценивается в 1 балл за каждый правильный ответ. Задания 23-26. Максимальное количество баллов – 4. Рекомендуемое время для выполнения задания – 10 минут.

Правильность выполнения заданий проверяется по ключам.

Процедура проведения конкурса

Общие правила

Участники должны сидеть в аудитории на таком расстоянии друг от друга, чтобы не видеть работу соседа.
Участник может взять с собой в аудиторию ручку, очки, шоколад, воду.
В аудиторию не разрешается брать бумагу, справочные материалы (словари, справочники, учебники и т.д.), пейджеры и мобильные телефоны, диктофоны, плейеры и любые другие технические средства.
Во время выполнения задания участник может выходить из аудитории только в сопровождении дежурного.
Участник не может выйти из аудитории с заданием или листом ответов.

Процедура проведения

Каждому участнику перед началом выполнения заданий выдается Лист с заданиями и проводится инструктаж на русском языке по процедуре проведения Олимпиады, заполнению ответов и по порядку сдачи работы по окончании :

Участники заполняют графу Participant"s ID number на листах с заданиями.
НА РАБОТАХ КАТЕГОРИЧЕСКИ ЗАПРЕЩАЕТСЯ УКАЗЫВАТЬ ФАМИЛИИ, ДЕЛАТЬ РИСУНКИ ИЛИ КАКИЕ-ЛИБО ОТМЕТКИ, В ПРОТИВНОМ СЛУЧАЕ РАБОТА СЧИТАЕТСЯ ДЕШИФРОВАННОЙ И НЕ ОЦЕНИВАЕТСЯ.
Исправления ошибками не считаются; однако почерк должен быть понятным; спорные случаи (о или а) трактуются не в пользу участника .
Задания выполняются только черными или синими чернилами/ пастой (запрещены красные, зеленые чернила, карандаш).

Перед прослушиванием отрывка член жюри включает запись и дает возможность участникам прослушать самое начало записи. Затем запись выключается, и член жюри обращается к аудитории с вопросом, хорошо ли всем слышно. Если в аудитории кто-то из участников плохо слышит запись, регулируется громкость звучания, и устраняются все технические неполадки, влияющие на качество звучания. Затем запись включается с самого начала, не останавливается и прослушивается до самого конца.

Участники могут ознакомиться с вопросами до прослушивания.

Процедура аудирования записана на диск. ПОСЛЕ ПЕРВОГО ПРОСЛУШИВАНИЯ ЧЛЕН ЖЮРИ ВКЛЮЧАЕТ ЗАПИСЬ ПОВТОРНО. Двум заданиям соответствуют два трека. Запись задания на диске предъявляется 2 раза подряд (допускается техническая пауза в 10-15 секунд).

Во время аудирования участники не могут задавать вопросы членам жюри или выходить из аудитории, так как шум может нарушить процедуру проведения конкурса.

Время проведения конкурса ограничено временем, необходимым для прослушивания представленных заданий. Каждое из заданий предъявляется дважды.

Участникам раздаются тексты заданий и бумага для черновиков. В тексте заданий даны все инструкции по выполнению заданий. Участники получают чистую бумагу для черновиков, черновик сдается вместе с заданиями. Однако проверке подлежат только листы с заданиями. Черновики не проверяются.

Член жюри в аудитории должен зафиксировать время начала и окончания задания на доске.

За 15 и за 5 минут до окончания работы член жюри в аудитории должен напомнить об оставшемся времени и предупредить о необходимости тщательной проверки работы.

После окончания времени выполнения заданий, листы с заданиями собираются.

Сразу после написания олимпиады, работы участников передают руководителю ШМО, который организует проверку работ специально созданной комиссией ОУ. Проверка работ осуществляется под руководством опытного руководителя дающего указания и инструкции группе проверяющих преподавателей. Критерии оценивания в виде таблицы выдаются на руки каждому проверяющему. Дешифровка работ производится после окончательного оценивания работ. По результатам выстраивается рейтинг участников Олимпиады.

Практика показывает, что зачастую олимпиады - terra incognita как для учеников, так и для их родителей. Да и учителя далеко не всегда владеют полной информацией. Цель данной статьи - кратко рассказать, какие бывают олимпиады, как они проводятся и для чего нужны.

Главные различия между Всероссийской олимпиадой и перечневыми - схемы проведения и льготы.

Всероссийская олимпиада

Всероссийская олимпиада школьников

Всеросс - самое престижное событие олимпиадного сезона. Про эту олимпиаду обычно знают больше, чем про остальные. Причина проста: первый этап ВОШ проводят во всех школах , поэтому не услышать о ней хоть что-нибудь практически невозможно. За школьным этапом следуют муниципальный, региональный и заключительный . В школьном этапе могут участвовать все желающие, а для участия в каждом последующем необходимо набирать установленный проходной балл.

Призеры и победители заключительного этапа Всероссийской олимпиады получают различные льготы при поступлении в вузы : БВИ (поступление без экзаменов), 100 баллов в зачет ЕГЭ, баллы за личные достижения. Эти льготы не требуют подтверждения результатами ЕГЭ.

Призерство и победа на Всероссе - очень сложная задача , зачастую с непредсказуемым финалом («два года ботал, и даже на ЗЭ не прошел»). Поэтому нельзя делать ставку только на одну эту олимпиаду. Обязательно подстраховывайтесь с помощью перечневых (особенно в 11 классе).

Перечневые (вузовские) олимпиады

Перечневые олимпиады, в отличие от Всероссийской, к школам никакого отношения не имеют. Их проводят вузы (поэтому перечневые олимпиады часто именуются вузовскими). Например, олимпиаду «Высшая проба» проводит ВШЭ, «Евразийскую» олимпиаду проводит МГЛУ, олимпиаду РАНХиГС проводит, как легко догадаться, РАНХиГС. Поскольку школы не занимаются вопросом вузовских олимпиад, отслеживать все связанные с ними события необходимо самостоятельно.

Во-первых, нужно знать, какие олимпиады являются перечневыми . Каждый год Российский совет олимпиад школьников (РСОШ) составляет список олимпиад, а Министерство образования утверждает его. Этот список и есть перечень. Если олимпиада находится в этом списке, значит она перечневая. Если отсутствует, значит она не перечневая, и никаких вступительных льгот по ней не предусмотрено. Олимпиады по английскому языку, вошедшие в перечень текущего года, собраны на соответствующей странице сайта Upwego.

Каждой перечневой олимпиаде присваивается определенный уровень: от I до III. В 2017/18 учебном году, например, было четыре олимпиады по английскому языку I уровня, 7 олимпиад II уровня и 2 олимпиады III уровня (одна из которых проводилась не по всей России). Знать уровень олимпиады необходимо для определения того, какая вам достанется льгота.

Набор льгот по перечневым олимпиадам такой же, как и у Всеросса: БВИ, 100 баллов в зачет ЕГЭ или несколько баллов личных достижений. Однако в отличие от льгот Всероссийской олимпиады, любые льготы по перечневым олимпиадам нуждаются в подтверждении результатами ЕГЭ : нужно сдать экзамен на 75 баллов и выше (количество баллов может отличаться в разных вузах, но обычно это именно 75).

Определившись, какие олимпиады входят в перечень, нужно идти на сайты этих олимпиад и изучать регламент их проведения. Общая схема одинакова для всех: сначала проходит отборочный тур (как правило, online), затем следует финал (очный) . Точные даты проведения публикуются на сайтах олимпиад.

Важный момент: для участия в любой перечневой олимпиаде необходима регистрация, которая у разных олимпиад открывается в разное время. За этим нужно следить, заглядывая на олимпиадные сайты начиная с октября. На некоторых олимпиадах (например, на «Высшей пробе») регистрация заканчивается раньше, чем начинается отборочный тур. Поэтому вопросом регистрации следует озаботиться заранее, не откладывая на последний момент. Для регистрации, как правило, требуются определенный набор документов: согласие родителей, справка из школы. Полный список требований указан на сайтах олимпиад. Обязательно изучите их, когда планируете участие.

Информация о том, когда и как проводится отборочный тур, также публикуется на сайтах олимпиад. Узнав дату и время проведения, необходимо самостоятельно зайти на сайт олимпиады и пройти отборочный тур в отведенные для этого сроки. Набрав на отборочном туре проходной балл, вы проходите в финал.

Финалы перечневых олимпиад проводятся очно. У большинства из них есть несколько площадок проведения - в разных городах. Искать подходящий город проведения олимпиады, а также ехать туда необходимо самостоятельно. Некоторые олимпиады предоставляют иногородним участникам общежития и оплачивают транспортные расходы.

Внимание! Перечневые олимпиады - это личная ответственность участника. Никто не будет напоминать, что надо зарегистрироваться, пройти отборочный тур, посмотреть свои баллы, съездить на заключительный тур. Если вы забыли, не уследили, не успели - сами виноваты.

Как понять, какие льготы полагаются за олимпиаду?

Решение о том, какие льготы давать олимпиадникам, принимают вузы. Поэтому, чтобы узнать, какие вам полагаются льготы, необходимо идти на сайт вуза, который вас интересует, и искать там документы под названием «Особые права, предоставляемые победителям и призерам Всероссийской олимпиады школьников» (если у вас диплом ВОШ) и «Особые права, предоставляемые победителям и призерам олимпиад школьников, включенных в Перечень олимпиад» (если у вас диплом перечневой олимпиады). В этих документах подробно расписано, какие дипломы олимпиад на каких факультетах принимают.

Обратите внимание, что разные факультеты одного и того же вуза устанавливают разные льготы . Например, в 2018 году факультет ВШЭ «Иностранные языки и межкультурная коммуникация» принимал без вступительных экзаменов только победителей олимпиады «Высшая проба», а факультет «Язык и литература Ирана» в том же вузе давал БВИ победителям и призерам любой олимпиады I уровня, а также победителям любой олимпиады II уровня. Также обратите внимание, что в течение года опубликованный список льгот может меняться без предупреждения , причем как в сторону расширения, так и в сторону сужения. Следите за этим внимательно и проверяйте его почаще.

Сроки действия олимпиадных дипломов

Дипломы Всероссийской олимпиады действуют 4 года. Это означает, что выиграв Всеросс в 9 классе, при поступлении в вуз после 11 класса вы можете воспользоваться всеми льготами, которые дает ваш диплом.

Теоретически срок действия дипломов перечневых олимпиад тоже составляет 4 года. Однако здесь, в отличие от Всеросса, вузы имеют право уточнять, класс, в котором был получен диплом, и в большинстве случаев требуют, чтобы он был получен в 11 классе . Таким образом, диплом, полученный, например, в 9 классе, является формально действительным (4 года не истекло), но практически бесполезным (его нигде не принимают). Точные сведения о том, какие классы учитываются, можно почерпнуть на сайтах вузов, в тех же документах об особых правах.

Занятия в группах

Я готовлю к олимпиадам в мини-группах (от 2 до 6 человек). На занятиях основное внимание уделяется расширению словарного запаса, работе над идиомами, страноведением и прочими олимпиадными штучками. Занятия идут полностью на английском языке. Обязательным компонентом являются домашние задания.

Программы обучения

Готовясь самостоятельно, легко упустить из виду что-нибудь важное. Чтобы этого не произошло, я предлагаю вам специальные олимпиадные программы . Занимаясь по программе, вы регулярно получаете организованный набор упражнений. В отличие от групповых занятий, программы проходят on-line, поэтому доступны для любых регионов.

The trip of Lifetime

This summer holiday, my friend Irvin and I wanted to do something different. Instead of wasting our time staying at home watching TV and playing computer games as usual, we decided to go camping.

After getting permission from our parents, we began planning our trip. We made a list of all the food and supplies we would need and spent an entire afternoon searching for the best place to buy our camping equipment. In the end, our tent, our tent, stove and sleeping bags cost a lot of money, but it was worth it.

When the day finally arrived, my Uncle Bob was kind enough to drive us to the campsite after he got off his work. We knew it would take us a couple of hours to get there and Irvin and I grew more and more excited as we got closer to where we were going. It was dark by the time we arrived, but we didn’t care. We waved happily at Uncle Bob as he drove away. Then, after a bit of trouble and a lot of laughter, Irvin and I set up the tent and lit the cooking stove. As we sat having our first meal at the camp –tinned spaghetti –we both agreed it was the best food we had ever eaten. A short time later, warm and comfortable in our sleeping bags, we quickly fell asleep and dreamed about what our great adventure would bring.

A Carl Lewis was born on July 1. 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama. Introduced to track and field by his athletic parents, Lewis first broke the long jump record while in high school. In 1984, he returned home with 4 gold medals after his first Olympics. Later, participating in the Summer Olympics of 1988, 1992 and 1996, he won another 5 gold medals and a silver one. He was also named ‘ athlete of the year’ 3 years in a row by Track and Field magazine and ‘sportsman of the century’ by the International Olympic Committee.

B Born October 14, 1952 in Vladimir, Nikolai Adrianov first signed up for gymnastic classes at the age of 11. Having difficulty balancing gymnastics and all that homework his teachers gave him, he almost quit, but Tolkachov, his coach, encouraged and helped him to go on trying. Between 1971 and 1980, he was at the top pf many international gymnastics competitions, including the World Championships. He participated in the 1972, 1976 and the 1980 Olympic Games in which he won 15 medals, the most a man has won in Olympic competition. In 2001 he was introduced into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.

C Oksana Baiul was born in Ukraine on February 26, 1977. She began skating at the age of four and although orphaned at 13, she was cared for by her coach. When he left the country, she lived with her new coach, Galina Zmievskaya. At 15, Oksana won the World Figure Skating Championship and a couple of years later, participated in the 1994 Winter Olympics. She almost missed one of the competitions due to a warm-up accident. However, she was not severely injured and went on to win an Olympic gold medal.

D Michael Gross was born as the best swimmer between the 1981 and 1988. Born in Frankfurt on June 17, 1964, people referred to him as “The Albatross” because of his extremely long arms. At the age of 19, Gross set his first world record, then set 4 world records in four different events over the next three years. He also won two world titles and four European titles. He competed in the Summer Olympics of 1984 and 1988 in which he won six medals. During the 1984 Olympics, his freestyle relay team was defeated by the Americans, earning the American tem the title of “Grossbusters”

Alexander Vereinov

History has proven time and time again that there are people who can rise above difficulties and face great challenges in a way that is inspiring to all. Many people with serious disabilities often manage to not only look past their condition, but even go on to achieve greatness. Two shining examples of this are Ludwig van Beethoven and Helen Keller.

Another brilliant case is that of Alexander Vereinov, a famous Russian artist. Born in 1956, Vereinov suffers from cerebral palsy, a condition which seriously affects body and muscle movement. His first attempts at painting began at a special hospital for children suffering from cerebral palsy, where he spent his childhood. Since he had no control of his hands, Verienov used his mouth to hold his pain brushes. The problem was that the people at the hospital were afraid he would hurt himself, so he wasn’t allowed to paint; which is why he did all his work of art at night, in a secret.

Today, Alexander Verienov is an internationally recognized mouth artist, who has produced many stunning originals as well as reproductions of other well-known paintings are nearly impossible to tell from the original.

However, Verienov’c activity does not end here. Together with Maxim Goubanov, a Russian philanthropist, he works towards raising money for Alexander Verienov Disabled Russian Citizens Fund. This is an organization that aims to provide wheelchairs, medicine, food and other necessities to disabled people who do not have enough means to support themselves. Indeed, Alexander Vereinov is an inspirational example of being able to use your inner strength and determination to become successful and then use this success to help others.
